European oak is lightly brushed to enhance the rustic grain and sealed with a water based natural lacquer. The micro bevelled oak top layer is precision milled and backed on a 5Gc glueless locking system for a simple and versatile installation.
Square edge planks are made from individual staves of rustic oak selected for variation and character, so that once installed the effect is smooth and seamless floor. The surface is fine sanded and spray coated with hardwearing lacquer making this floor perfect for heavy traffic areas ideal for hallways and perfect for playrooms. The Aesthetic is classic and modern European very popular in Germany, Austria and Poland.
This is an untreated smooth sanded oak plank. The first striking difference between this board and the other oak we sell is the pale colouration, the raw colour of seasoned oak. This creates a canvas full of rustic character to which any surface application can be added once installed on your floor.
Traditionally proportioned random length planks are milled from mixed grade Black American Walnut. The surface is smooth sanded and sealed with matt aluminium oxide lacquer to accentuate the wonderfully varied grain and rich earthy walnut tones which over time mellow to suit the character of any interior space. This luxurious plank adds a deep warmth to a room whilst being versatile to install and easy to maintain.
The surface of this board is rolled with steel brushes which emphasise the natural grain of the oak surface. The Wharf Grey top layer is given a deep lustre with the application of several colour oils which are UV cured to build up a natural protective surface
